Lip enhancement
Your lips may naturally not be as plump and sensual as you would like or perhaps your lips have just lost their fullness with age. You may have begun to see them lose their definition, with fine lines forming around them.
Your lips are even more vulnerable to ageing than your skin because they have less of a surface layer to retain essential nutrients and they produce less melanin, the pigment which protects and nourishes both skin and lips. That is why, in extreme weather conditions, especially cold, they so easily dry out and become chapped and sore. It is usually the top lip that suffers first.
There are a number of treatments which can add fullness to your lips, give them better definition and leave them looking more kissable. One of the most popular treatments is a dermal filler specially developed for lips called Restylane Lipp which is a natual product.
A local anaesthetic is necessary and after treatment your lips may be a little swollen for a time. Many people require a second treatment. The improvement will generally last for six-nine months before you will then need a top-up.

Keep your lips soft by not licking them, drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration, and applying a coating of lip balm before bed to help to moisturize lips while you sleep.
When participating in outdoor activity, use a lip balm that contains a SPF of at least 15 to prevent sunburn. Add a base coat of lip balm prior to applying lipstick during the dry winter months. If your lips become chapped, avoid wearing lipstick while your lips are recovering as drying products contained in colour pigments may irritate chapped lips.
